At BIRDING ON A BUDGET COSTA RICA we know that many travelers to Costa Rica have limited time to spend birding or visiting natural areas, but don’t want to go home without sampling the fantastic birding and wildlife viewing that Costa Rica has to offer. Perhaps you have come to Costa Rica on business, with family who have other plans, or maybe you are here to get a “feel” for living in this beautiful country! Whatever your circumstances , we have a trip which should fit your needs. We offer one-day birding/natural history excursions to many areas which can be reached within one or two hours from Central Valley locations. Day excursion packages include transportation from your hotel or lodgings, bottled water and a snack for the road, map and information package on the site to be visited, and a customized bird list for the area. We can even provide boots and umbrellas (just in case they are needed.) The use of binoculars for the day can be arranged with advance notification. Some sites have lunch provided.
